I had a fun photo session with Mrs. Ellen Shackelford in my Virginia Beach Photography Studio last week. Ellen works as a Diversity Consultant at Connections Access Consulting Services, LLC. She is a self-admited jazz fanatic who can talk music with the best music lovers. She plays the violin, she’s a coach and an author. Ellen is a unique lady who is very up spirited and out going. Infant Photography at Edward Lee Photography Studio

I had the job of baby photography with this little princess in my Virginia Beach Photography studio; and to my surprise it was fun and simple. Baby photography can go either way but she was quite the little model and took the opportunity to show her stuff. Her proud parents (Cedrick Bias and Timira McGruder) stood by proudly as their future little runway model dazzled the camera. I have to say I enjoyed the shoot, even though one particular scene gave her the opportunity to water the rug. lol She further proves that Edward Lee Photography is not only a glamour, wedding, and high school senior photographer; in fact, we’re expanding our services to cover other areas of photography. Washington Family Portrait Session

I had the pleasure of photographing a fellow military retiree (even if he as Air Force) and his family. Their shoot was very easy and simple to do because they are such a good looking family. I am truly humbled that they traveled from the Nation’s Capital (Washington, DC) to shoot with Edward Lee Photography. Families like the Washington’s make my love for photography well worth it. Ed Lee attends the “Look Fabulous Tour” seminar

I took a few days off to attend the nationwide tour featuring two of my favorite photographer’s (Lou Freeman and Lindsay Adler), who also has a plethora of talents which they openly and honestly shared with all attendees. It was well worth the trip to Philadelphia to further enhance my understanding and techniques to being a better photographer. The Philadelphia seminar was the second in a 33 city tour across the nation and if I didn’t love photography and my clients so much, I would probably meet them in another nearby city, such as Washington, DC or North Carolina. I would highly recommend this seminar to photographer’s in every type of style because there was something to gain for everyone. These two successful photographers know their stuff and were extremely approachable. Take advantage of that because many photographers such as my self know, successful photographers have a tendency to not share their technique or knowledge. Thanks Lou Freeman and Lindsay Adler for such a wonderful experience!

Photographing Mrs. Danielle Greene

Danielle Overstreet and Rashard Anderson’s Shoot

I had a client contact me to do a shoot with her best friend, which was pretty cool, because preserving the best of times is what we as photographers do for our clients. They came in and was instantly relaxed in front of the camera, as this was both of their first time doing a photo shoot. Did I forget to mention that these two friends are also fellow navy sailors, who put it all on the line for our freedoms each and every day.
